Gibson HG-00 Hawaiian Guitar Slide Guitar in Original Chip Board Case 1938
Back in the 1920s and 1930s Hawaiian music was all the rage and everyone wanted to preform music from that exotic land that was considered to be paradise! It was so popular that Gibson created its own Hawaiian Guitar (HG) slide guitar using the L body. This is the HG-00 body which is basically an L-00 that Gibson made into a Hawaiian Slide Guitar. The serial number is DG-3200.
This guitar is from 1938 (D = 1938) (G = Gibson). This includes the original chip board case.
Please note, that there is guitar is in good shape for its age, but it does have its share of age related issues like scratches, humidity cracks, wear, and chips on it. BUT this guitar does not have any major issues. When checked under a black light, there are no headstock or neck cracks / repairs or any structural issues.
Please check out the video! It is played by the exact guitar you will be receiving!
On the other hand, please note that the original chip board case is included, but it is in poor shape and barely holding together. There are some hinges missing, but it does hold its shape and does protect the guitar.
