Title –Workflow and Automating Business Critical Applications on the MOSS platform.
In this session we will provide an overview of how to use SharePoint along with K2 to automate and manage complex applications on the MOSS 2007 and SPS 2010 platforms. We will focus on the following areas:
• Configuration of complex business processes in visual, drag and drop designer
• Management of tasks / work items, escalation and delegation logic
• Dashboard reporting of both process metrics and data coming from forms and back end systems
• Automated provisioning of SharePoint sites, managing user security rights, and content across SharePoint site collections
The session will also include to demonstration an Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF / ITIL) based change management scenario.

Title - WSS/MOSS SharePoint Branding concepts with SharePoint Designer- How to get SharePoint to do what you want it to do.
Description:
Eric Schrader from 6th Street Consulting will go over WSS 3.0 and MOSS branding using SharePoint Designer.
Topics will include: Publishing Portals, Layouts, Masterpages, Publishing Pages, Themes, Data View web parts, XSLT, Merging Data Sources, Filtering data, CSS, and other helpful browser/pc tools for web programmers.
Demos will include how to create navigation from a SharePoint list, a few good ways to use Page Viewer web parts, Adding permission levels to NewForm, EditForm, and DispForm.aspx fields, Heather Solomon’s Base Master page, and how/where to override various challenging lines from SharePoint’s Core.css using specific CSS.
